Over the years, "The Warehouse" has had many uses. The property was occupied as a shipping warehouse, Studebaker Dealership, grocery store, and most recently the Callahan Builder Mart. Built in 1903, this historic building was the storage facility for the train depot that served Bainbridge and the surrounding community.

 

The comprehensive redevelopment and adaptive re-use project adds more dynamic apartments, retail and restaurant space to the area, while restoring and enhancing the existing property. Located 2 blocks north of the square in historic downtown Bainbridge, "The Warehouse" hopes to encourage spin-off development, add jobs, promote downtown housing, and add to the cultural enrichment of the community.
